Nadia J. Arensdorf writes, teaches, and speaks on a wide array of topics. Nadia teaches Bible regularly, and her current book project, exploring how God has called writers to write, is the theme of two speaking engagements in 2026. She has taught ESL in Wisconsin, Houston, and internationally in Turkey, and presented papers at academic conferences in Texas and England. As an adjunct instructor at Sam Houston State University, Nadia teaches freshmen composition, creating both introductory and advanced coursework for research and writing.

Nadia also has a passion for ministry. She writes for the Carrier Pigeon Post, a newspaper designed to bring hope to incarcerated individuals, offering short, 6th-grade level articles on history, literature, and culture. Nadia has written one women’s devotional, entitled 31 Days of God’s Word: Emoji Devos, which tells the story of the Bible using emojis. She has also co-written for Declaration Church, under editor Janice Thompson, The Road to Bethlehem, a Christmas devotional for families, contributing eight of the thirty-one devotions. Nadia has taught theater and quilting and also offers pro bono services in editing for nonfiction works.

In addition to her two masters’ theses focusing on 19th century Britain, Nadia published an annotated bibliography for the Nathaniel Hawthorne Review while serving as assistant to the editor for the Review. She also co-created an English graduate-level course considering the intersection of two literary and historical figures, Samuel Johnson and C.S. Lewis. During her fourteen-year tenure of homeschooling four students, Nadia created history, literature, and elective curricula, including American History, 20th Century World History, Turkish History, Wisconsin-, Illinois-, California-, and Texas-state histories, and Bible Survey courses. Nadia’s passion for history has emerged in her in-progress, three-book fiction series, with Efes Vision taking place in Turkey and Scotia Vision in Scotland

Serving as Vice President of her local American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW) chapter in The Woodlands, Texas, Nadia has been a member for four years while serving as chapter librarian for three of those years.

In spite of the wondrous variety of interests God has given her, above all, Nadia’s passion is to dig into God’s Word, learn what He has for His people, and share it through teaching—both in speech and in writing.
