Incense and Fine Linen

Revelation 5:8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

Revelation 19:8 “[It] was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.

Because of Jesus Christ and His Work on the Cross, believers have a future hope. That hope is spending eternity with God in Heaven, enjoying His presence, glory, and love for us.

Revelation 5:8 tells us that incense is the “prayers of the saints.” Revelation 19:8 tells us fine linen is the “righteous deeds of the saints.” Combined, incense and fine linen proclaim the privilege, responsibility, and joy of living for Jesus: praying for others around us (Colossians 1:9-11) and serving one another in love (Galatians 5:13). This is the true freedom Christ offers us.

Welcome! It is my prayer that wherever you land among my pages, you will be encouraged! ✝️🙏❤️
